Leap

I took one last look around as I turned 360 degrees breathing in how far I have come.  I stopped overlooking the terrain extending out as far as my mind could see.  I brought my toes to the edge of the cliff and I looked down over the edge.  With no bottom in sight I decided it’s time to take a new journey where I am free of what no longer serves me.  It’s time to shift to a new plane and I have all I need to take this leap.  I walked multiple steps back with my heart racing to peace.  And I ran fearlessly into the unknown where I had not yet traveled.  I leapt out into empty space and I knew I would never know the same.
